Cookie Policy

1. Who we are and scope of this Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how DCY Fund SCSp (the “Fund”), managed by OWL Inclusive S.A., uses cookies and similar technologies on this website (the “Website”).
For information on how we process personal data more generally, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They enable the site to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit.
We may also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, SDKs, local storage or scripts, which perform comparable functions (collectively referred to as “cookies” in this Policy).
3. What this Website actually uses
This Website sets no cookies. It uses no advertising or targeting technologies and no social media plugins, and it does not track or profile you or follow you across other websites.
It does count page views, using Cloudflare Web Analytics (described in section 4). That measurement is cookie-free: it stores nothing on your device and reads nothing already stored there, which is why it appears in no table on this page and why it is not something you are asked to consent to.
The only thing it stores on your device is the single entry below. That entry is held in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, but it is listed here because it serves the same kind of purpose and we hold ourselves to the same rules for it.
| Name | Purpose | Category | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
dcy_gate_ack |
Records that you have confirmed the investor statement shown before the product pages, so you are not asked again on every page. It holds a timestamp and a version number only: no name, email address or identifier. | Strictly necessary | 182 days |
This entry is strictly necessary: without it the confirmation you gave could not be honoured and the product pages could not be shown to you. It therefore does not require your consent, and it cannot be switched off while still using those pages. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browsing data for this Website.
4. Third parties
No page of this Website loads advertising, social media or tracking content from anyone, and none of your browsing is disclosed to any advertiser or data broker. Its own content — text, images and fonts — is served from this Website’s own domain, and the only two scripts that are not come from Cloudflare, Inc.
Cloudflare is involved in showing you a page in three ways — it hosts the Website, and it provides those two scripts. None of the three sets a cookie:
- Hosting. This Website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. The technical data needed to send you a page, including your IP address, therefore reaches Cloudflare on every request, as it would reach any hosting provider. Cloudflare acts on our instructions, as our processor.
- Measurement. Every page loads Cloudflare Web Analytics from
static.cloudflareinsights.com. It reports the page view together with the page requested, the referring website if you arrived from one, the country the request comes from, and the class of device and browser used. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it, and it derives no identifier, so it cannot recognise you on a later visit, profile you, or follow you across other websites. We see aggregate figures only. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this needs no consent; it rests on our legitimate interest in knowing how the Website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). - Anti-abuse verification. The three product pages that carry the documentation request form (BTC Yield, USD Yield and Digital Dynamic) load a Cloudflare Turnstile widget from
challenges.cloudflare.com. It checks that the form is being filled in by a person rather than by a program, which stops the form being used to send unwanted email in our name. On those three pages it also receives technical signals about your browser and device. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, so nothing in section 3 changes, and it is not used to track or profile you.
Beyond that, third parties become involved only where you actively choose to leave the Website or to contact us:
- Outbound links. Links to our social media profiles and to our booking page take you to those providers’ own websites, where their privacy and cookie policies apply: from the moment you arrive there, and not before.
- Forms. When you confirm the investor statement or send a documentation request, what you submit is transmitted to this Website’s own address and received by us directly; it is not handed to an external form-processing service. That is a transfer of information you chose to give us rather than a cookie, and it is covered by our Privacy Policy.
5. Consent and your choices
You will not see a cookie banner on this Website, because there is nothing on it that requires your consent. Consent is required for cookies and similar technologies that store information on your device, or read information already stored there, beyond what is strictly necessary — and we use none. The measurement described in section 4 does neither, which is why it is not put to you for a decision.
If that ever changes then, before any such technology runs for the first time:
- a consent banner will appear on your first visit, describing each category in plain terms;
- you will be able to accept them, reject them, or choose category by category, with rejecting made no harder than accepting;
- every optional category will start switched off, and nothing non-essential will load unless and until you opt in;
- a “Cookie settings” link will appear in the footer of every page, so that you can change or withdraw your choice at any time and as easily as you gave it;
- this Policy will be updated to describe what is in use before it goes live.
Separately from the above, most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage through their own settings. If you clear this Website’s storage, you will simply be asked to confirm the investor statement again.
6. International transfers and data protection
Because the Website sets no cookies, browsing it transfers no cookie-related personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), or anywhere else. The single entry described in section 3 never leaves your own device.
Other data does reach the United States. Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this Website and provides the measurement and the verification described in section 4, is established there. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection; where that certification does not apply, the transfer is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission. Our Privacy Policy sets this out in full.
Were we to introduce any further technology involving such a transfer, we would put appropriate safeguards in place under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): an adequacy decision of the European Commission, Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent mechanism. We would say so in this Policy before it was used.
For more detail on how we process personal data, your rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and so on) and how to exercise them, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact us at support@dcy.fund.
7. Retention
The single entry described in section 3 stops being valid 182 days after you confirm the investor statement. At that point you are asked to confirm again and the entry is replaced; it is removed straight away if you clear your browser’s storage for this Website.
Nothing else is kept on your device.
8. Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the cookies we use, in applicable law, or in our services. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated “last updated” date.
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.
